From April-June, we focus on consolidating knowledge in JK. We spend the first part of the school year developing relationships, creating a calming routine, and observing learning styles and approaches to learning within an inquiry play-based environment.
Now is the time our learners really focus on their skills, take risks in their learning, and share their knowledge with others.
Through distance learning, we have been exploring measurement: length, mass, capacity as well as estimating. With the support of families, our learners used materials from around their house, as well as videos, games and live Google Meets to consolidate their knowledge about measurement.
Keep up the amazing work JK2. You should be really proud of your efforts.
And remember,
“Math is playful and play is math-full!”
