On March 7th, some of Richland’s Grade 2-6 students presented their topics at our 9th Annual Public Speaking Event. The presenters entertained and inspired us with unique topics, demonstrating confidence, energy, and most of all, courage. This annual event represents many facets that each child has to master with guidance and collaboration from their teacher: brainstorming, research, putting the work together, managing their time, planning/thinking and creativity. Public speaking skills and being able to deliver dynamic presentations are valuable assets to everyone, allowing individuals the ability to communicate and network effectively.
