A Magical Path in the Forest…

Inquiring Minds is delighted to feature the words of one of our Junior Kindergarten children, Madalin. Madalin was captivated by the spectacular snowfall recently, and shared this photo of a path in the forest near her home. Note the imaginative detail that Madalin has to share, and how her curiosity has been peaked by nature’s beauty. Here are her thoughts.
“This is the magical path that me and my Mommy were going to go on yesterday. We did not have hot chocolate, so we might go after school today! I think I may see a deer, a bunny, a red bird…I think they are trying to get some food. There may be a special place for the beautiful animals. I saw it out of my window, a path in the forest. It looks beautiful to go in there. There were some icicles and ice…I might have to put my skates on!”

Thank you Madalin, for sharing your wonderful imagination with us. Take a moment this weekend to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us, just as Madalin has.
