It was with a lot of excitement and joy that we welcomed parents of our Grade Three students last Friday.

It was a time to celebrate the teaching and learning about success and how it is determined by effort, how to set SMART goals and how to overcome obstacles and failures by maintaining a growth mindset. 

The student shared with pride and confidence brief reflections on what they thought they’d remember the most from this inquiry. Resilience, Perseverance and Growth Mindset were related concepts often heard in their reflections.

Setting family goals with their parents and using the S.M.A.R.T action plan, supported out students knowledge and understanding of the process.
