Paper Tower Structure Building Challenge

Our grade 5 students put the learning theory of constructionism into practice by building knowledge through the construction of paper tower structures. Their task was to create the tallest tower possible with only 15 sheets of paper and within a 15 minute time frame. Our young architects produced some very interesting structures and were also able to successfully incorporate unit related concepts and vocabulary into their post-construction reflections.
