Today Inquiring Minds is delighted to share a wonderful and authentic learning moment brought to us from one of our JK families.  A powerful example of what transpires for Richland students, and just how curious and captivated they are, wherever they are! 

For S.’s show and share today, he will be bringing a large rock he found this past weekend at the beach. This was one of 5 rocks he chose because they were unique and colourful. He also collected shells and sand as part of his discovery. The interesting part of S.’s ‘treasures’ was learning what rocks were made of, how they get washed ashore, and how the minerals in the rock keep the water clean. He was also curious to compare the sizes of each rock by forming them in a line.
