Inquiring Minds is pleased to take this opportunity to feature this video of John Maeda, a Japanese-American graphic designer, computer scientist, academic, and author. His work in design, technology and leadership explores the area where the fields merge.

Mr. Maeda is currently the President of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and believes that creativity should be at the core of the educational agenda. He makes a very compelling argument, and explains why integrating convergent and divergent thinking enhances innovation, and how creativity and innovation will lead to economic recovery.
