Our Land Acknowledgement shows recognition of and respect for Indigenous peoples from the past and the present. We acknowledge that the property of Richland Academy is situated upon traditional territories of the Anishinabek, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit, Mississauga and the Wendat peoples.
Recognizing this land is an expression of gratitude and appreciation to those whose territory you reside on, and a way of honouring the Indigenous people who have been living and working on the land from time immemorial.
Natalie teaches Grade 2 at Richland. Originally from Thornhill, Ontario, Ms. Revesz spent over ten years as a primary school teacher in New Zealand and Japan, with a focus on teaching Kindergarten-Grade 2. As a graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University for Early Childhood Education and York University for Bachelor of Education, Natalie travelled the world while working in the field of Education. What stuck to her the most, no matter where she was, was the pure joy children experience when they are in charge of their learning. Natalie is committed to providing a learning environment where students feel valued and safe enough to take risks, while delivering an academic program suited to the needs of all students.
