Ice and Imagination: A JK Exploration, Part II

In a previous post, we shared the inquiry project currently unfolding in the Junior Kindergarten classroom. The children continue to be captivated and curious with the ice and snow they are studying.

Here is a fascinating interview with one of our JK students, Sebastian. In this video, Sebastian will tell you all about a sculpture that he made from the ice blocks in the classroom. Without wanting to give too much away, it’s important to note the connection Sebastian has made from a book he read in the Fall, and how that prior knowledge has creatively inspired him.

Enjoy!
