Our Grade 2 students have been working on self-portraits in the style of Vincent Van Gogh this term in Studio class.
Throughout his life, Van Gogh wrote many letters to his brother, Theo, detailing his art work. The Grade 2 students decided they would also write a letter to someone close to them telling them about their self-portraits. Visual Arts Teacher, Mrs. Sherman, and Grade 2 Teacher, Mr. Perera, collaborated on this work with the Grade 2 students by detailing all of the steps necessary in writing a good letter and the technical art language the students would use.
