Last week, the Grade 3 Class were lucky to have Peter Marshall, software engineer and photographer, come in for a visit.  The students were thrilled to have a guest, and were excited to learn that they too can be programmers at age 8!  Peter explained basic programming to the kids, and they had an opportunity to explore on the computer.  They created code for a small game, and learned that developing the steps of code is tricky at times!  Their curiosity and perseverance were remarkable.  We have a few programmers in the making.  Below is a slideshow of photos that Peter took while visiting.  It encompasses the warm, positive, and welcoming nature of the Grade 3 Class.
