Our Land Acknowledgement shows recognition of and respect for Indigenous peoples from the past and the present. We acknowledge that the property of Richland Academy is situated upon traditional territories of the Anishinabek, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit, Mississauga and the Wendat peoples.
Recognizing this land is an expression of gratitude and appreciation to those whose territory you reside on, and a way of honouring the Indigenous people who have been living and working on the land from time immemorial.
Selina holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Management. Her passion for education has led her to obtain a teacher certificate in Early Childhood Education and a certificate in special education. With over a decade of experience working with children in various capacities, including 6 years in an IB-PYP private school, She firmly believes that every child is an active learner and inquirer. She is committed to nurturing a love for learning, encouraging curiosity, and instilling a sense of confidence in her students. Her goal is to scaffold and provide the necessary guidance to help children navigate their learning journeys and to reach their full potential.
