Our Land Acknowledgement shows recognition of and respect for Indigenous peoples from the past and the present. We acknowledge that the property of Richland Academy is situated upon traditional territories of the Anishinabek, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit, Mississauga and the Wendat peoples.
Recognizing this land is an expression of gratitude and appreciation to those whose territory you reside on, and a way of honouring the Indigenous people who have been living and working on the land from time immemorial.
Daniella M. Raposo is a highly qualified professional with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Education specializing in primary, junior, and intermediate teaching, a Master’s in Early Childhood Education, and a postgraduate IB certification in Primary Years Programme teaching and learning. She is a registered Early Childhood Educator, a qualified Principal, and a certified Teacher. Daniella has over 14 years of diverse experience, including serving as a Childcare Supervisor , PYP Coordinator, Assistant Head of Primary & Early Years and teaching students from the early years through to adult learners at the college level. She is an EAL specialist, an IBEN Examiner, and is passionate about fostering globally minded education. Having lived and worked in Canada, England, China, and Vietnam, Daniella is thrilled to be back in Canada, joining the Richland community and eager to connect with students and families!
