Connecting with Nature

Connecting with Nature

“There’s no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.” This Scandinavian proverb gets it right. Every season has a reason to get outside and explore the natural world. Richland students love spending time outdoors, whether it’s digging in the garden or building in the snow. We would like to share this link to David Suzuki’s website, which has many suggestions for outdoor activities, as well as ways to support sustainability in our everyday lives. Enjoy!

I absolutely love that quote. There is so much beauty and wonder to be experienced in every changing season; the crisp white winter snow, the fresh dewy grass of springtime, the warm golden sunshine of the summer, and the crunchy colourful leaves of fall.
