Having Fun with Math!

The PK children have been practicing counting, number recognition and one-to-one correspondence.

In this activity, the children first placed the numbers 1 to 5 in the correct sequence, and then placed the corresponding number of objects below it. Matthew noticed the increasing pattern, saying “It gets bigger and bigger.” “Yes there are more and more!” replied Sebastian.

So now I know why Matthew keeps saying “100 is bigger then 5 and 10!!!”
