This week, our Grade 1 and 2 students performed French plays, “Le petit chat cherche une famille” and “Les animaux du bayou,” respectively. Monsieur Groshi did a fantastic job directing the plays, which were entertaining, inspiring and humourous. Très bien!

After sketching and modeling their sensory organs, our Grade 1 students have been creating their ‘Science Inquiry Festival’ projects using carefully-selected materials. One student chose a large piece of red cloth as the ‘perfect way’ to create the lips of his mouth model.

Following an examination of art from across Canada with Mrs. Sherman, our Grade 1 students each selected a region of Canada and began working on a piece that would represent that region, either in subject matter or style.
