This week, Richland Academy’s U-12 soccer team went to Wismer Park, Markham to compete in the outdoor soccer tournament. They played 6 games in the tournament and finished 2nd in their group overall. The team played extremely well during all of their games and were respectful to all of the other teams. Great job Richland and great job U-12!

On May 15th, some of Richland’s Grade 3 and 4 students participated in an S.S.A.F. Under-10 tournament at Sheppard’s Bush in Aurora, with 24 teams participating! The Richland Huskies showed great dedication, spirit and sportsmanship throughout the tournament and should be very proud of themselves. You made Coach Almeida and the entire School Community proud!
This week, our Richland Huskies participated in S.S.A.F. Under-10 and Under-12 basketball tournaments, respectively, at the Hoopdome, Downsview Park. Both teams put forth a great effort and are to be commended for their basketball prowess and for the wonderful way in which they represented their school. The students exhibited a positive attitude and excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournaments. Way to go, Huskies!
On November 2nd, the Richland Academy Huskies participated in an Under-12 S.S.A.F. indoor soccer tournament at The Hangar (Downsview Park). With great teamwork, sportsmanship and positive attitudes, the Huskies finished third in their group. Each player contributed to a fantastic team effort and demonstrated the character and pride Richland Academy is known for. They should be extremely proud of their achievements. Congratulations to all!
